Help is Waiting.
Call or Text - 988
If you are struggling with emotional distress, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, mental health concerns, substance use issues, or experiencing trauma or abuse - reach out. Someone is always here for you on the other end of the line.
You can reach out for yourself, or someone you care about. Crisis support is available 24/7 every day of the year by phone call, text, or chat.
To reach a Mobile Response Team (MRT), reach out to us at 988. A team of behavioral health professionals may be able to provide in-person support to you or a loved one.
Mobile Response Teams operate seven days per week from 8 am MT to 11 pm MT. This service is available statewide. Teams will expand to 24/7 service on 7/1/2025.
ICSH is a member of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and a national network of crisis call centers. We are accredited through the International Council of Helplines.
Always here. Ready to Listen.
Through listening, we empower Idahoans with options and resources while inspiring hope and human connection.
OUR MISSION
Idaho Crisis and Suicide Hotline provides 24/7 free and confidential support. We are committed to ensuring that those we serve are heard and empowered with options to stay safe while supporting their emotional well-being.
Crisis and suicide prevention support is available to you or a loved one.
Interested in supporting the Hotline?
What happens when you call the Hotline?
Our goal is to help you reduce stress and feel empowered to make decisions. You will be asked questions regarding your safety, feelings, and if you have thoughts of suicide. If a responder feels you are in danger they will speak with you about accessing emergency services. The responder can also work with you to create a safety plan if needed.
